Matt Schwartz is Vice President of Services at Ascend Analytics. In this capacity, Mr. Schwartz oversees the deployment and implementation of Ascend’s software products across the company’s global client base. Prior to Ascend, Mr. Schwartz served as Vice President, Business Intelligence and Analysis at Corporate Express, one of the world's largest business-to-business office supply companies. During his 7+ years at Corporate Express, Mr. Schwartz reported to the CFO and led a team consisting of software developers, statistical analysts and financial analysts. The team’s work received numerous technology achievement awards and Mr. Schwartz was named one of Computerworld’s “Premier 100 IT Leaders” in 2008.
Prior to joining Corporate Express, Mr. Schwartz held positions at three technology start-up companies, Dell, and the U.S. Department of Energy. Mr. Schwartz holds CBIP certification at the Mastery Level and serves as a board officer and frequent lecturer for The Data Warehouse Institute. Mr. Schwartz received a BS with Honors from Cornell University and an MBA from MIT.
