Alan Russo joins Ascend as Chief Revenue Officer with more than two decades of commercial leadership across energy, renewables, technology, and infrastructure.

He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at DDC Solutions. Before that, he spent more than six years at Stem, leading the shift from tariff-optimization projects to serving solar and storage developers across North America. Earlier, he helped transform REC Solar from a privately held regional EPC into a Duke Energy company focused on large corporate customers, and at Bloom Energy he helped move the business from capital-equipment sales toward power purchase and tolling agreements.

Across his career, he has led sales, marketing, and revenue organizations through rapid growth, IPOs, and acquisitions, contributing to four successful company exits.
