Matthew Boyda
Mr. Boyda is Chief Product Officer at Ascend Analytics, where he leads the product and analyst teams behind the forecasting, valuation, and bidding software that utilities, developers, and investors rely on in volatile power markets.

He brings more than 24 years in energy technology, building forecasting and analytics products for the people who trade and develop power. At ERCOT he architected the data foundation for the historic nodal market transition. He went on to co-found Energytics, which was acquired by Genscape, and joined Wood Mackenzie through that acquisition. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Trading Solutions, leading both product and industry research across global power and renewables for the world's leading energy trading houses. His work expanded into hyperscale data center operators, supporting large-load power procurement and grid interconnection.
Mr. Boyda earned a Computer Systems Technology degree from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
