Key Responsibilities:
Engaged in analyzing and structuring complex financial products for clients to secure insurance that minimizes volatility risk in the US energy markets.

Specifically:

• Develop company software, EnSurance^TM’s financial modeling capabilities to assist in creating structured insurance solutions for clients interested in financing US energy storage systems;
• Analyze cash flow and debt/equity structures, to advise financial clients in implementing structured insurance solutions into their financing initiatives;
• Compile and validate forecasts and other data used by insurers to underwrite financial clients’ risk in the US energy markets;
• Collaborate with internal analysts to leverage Ascend Analytics’ forecasting capabilities to generate data used in EnSurance’s financial modeling and analysis, as well as insurers’ underwriting activities;
• Identify new business development opportunities including novel insurance structuring to widen product offerings; and sources of investors/developers;
• Coordinate project management of external deliverables including, but not limited to, financial modeling, creating investment proposals, and backtesting forecasted revenue performance for US energy storage systems;
• Drive improvement to create efficiencies in internal processes and implement structure to undefined processes;

‍Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in finance or closely related (foreign equivalent OK) Minimum of 5 years in structured finance, including financial modeling and assessing underwriting risk.

‍Compensation: $89,066 - $154,000 with bonuses and a standard benefits package offered to all employees. Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
